Já são conhecidos os nomeados dos MTV European Music Awards 2020

Já são conhecidos os nomeados para a 27ª edição dos MTV European Music Awards 2020, que serão transmitidos no dia 8 de novembro a partir das 19h. Lady Gaga conta com 7 nomeações e BTS e Justin Bieber com 5 cada um, destacando-se assim na edição deste ano. Já a categoria “Best Portuguese Act” conta com nomeações de Bárbara Bandeira, Bispo, Dino D’Santiago, Diogo Piçarra e Fernando Daniel.

Dos cinco nomeados, Dino D’Santiago é o único estreante. Bárbara Bandeira e Bispo foram nomeados em 2018, juntamente com Diogo Piçarra que acabou por vencer nesse ano, e Fernando Daniel foi o vencedor do “Best Portuguese Act” em 2019.

Bruce Gillmer e Richard Godfrey são os produtores executivos e Debbie Philips e Chloe Mason serão as produtoras da edição de 2020 dos MTV EMAs, que contará com três novas categorias que refletem o panorama musical atual: “Melhor Artista Latino", “Vídeo Solidário” e “Melhor Live Virtual”. 

A MTV revelou ainda recentemente que as Little Mix serão as anfitriãs da edição dos EMAs deste ano, que contará ainda com as atuações das próprias, bem como de Sam Smith, Maluma, Doja Cat, YUNGBLUD e Zara Larsson.
