"O Poder do Cão" lidera corrida aos "Óscares" com 12 nomeações

Já são conhecidos os nomeados à edição de 2022 dos Óscares, com o filme O Poder do Cão, da cineasta neozelandesa Jane Campion, a ser a película mais nomeada. A longa-metragem da Netflix que tem como protagonistas os atores Benedict Cumberbatch e Kirsten Dunst está nomeada a 12 categorias, entre as quais a de “Melhor Filme”, “Melhor Realização”, “Melhor Argumento Adaptado”, “Melhor Fotografia” e “Melhor Ator”.

Duna, de Denis Villeneuve, com dez nomeações, e Belfast e West Side Story, respetivamente de Kenneth Branagh e Steven Spielberg, ambos com sete nomeações, são as produções que se seguem na lista com maior número de indicações.

Benedict Cumberbatch (O Poder do Cão), Javier Bardem (Being the Ricardos), Andrew Garfield (Tick Tick Boom), Will Smith (King Richard) e Denzel Washington (Macbeth), Nicole Kidman (Being The Ricardos), Olivia Colman (A Filha Perdida), Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Faye), Penelope Cruz (Mães Paralelas) e Kirsten Stewart (Spencer) são os nomes que se destacam nas categorias de Melhor Ator e Melhor Atriz.
