Já são conhecidos os nomeados dos 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

A MTV anunciou esta semana os nomeados para o 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, com a televisão a dominar as indicações após um ano de impacto da pandemia na indústria. A série da Disney Plus WandaVision lidera com cinco nomeações, seguindo-se Emily in Paris da Netflix e The Boys da Amazon Prime Video com quatro. Por fim, Bridgerton da Netflix, The Mandalorian da Disney Plus e o filme de Borat seguem-se com três nomeações cada um.

Além desta premiação, a MTV também anunciou ainda os indicados para a primeira edição do spin-off da cerimónia, o Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, onde serão premiados os programas de televisão sem guião. Aqui, RuPaul's Drag Race do canal VH1 lidera com quatro nomeações. A cerimónia dos MTV Movie & TV Awards será transmitida na madrugada de domingo para segunda feira, 17 de maio, às 2h da manhã, decorrendo no Palladium, em Los Angeles. Já a Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted será transmitida no dia seguinte, à mesma hora.
