"Grammy Awards 2021": Olivia Rodrigo nomeada nas quatro categorias principais

Foram anunciadas na tarde desta terça-feira, 23 de novembro, as nomeações da 64.ª edição dos Grammys. Jon Batiste, músico residente do programa Late Show with Stephen Colbert e um dos músicos responsáveis pela banda sonora do filme de animação Soul, lidera a corrida, com 11 indicações, seguido de Justin Bieber, Doja Cat e H.E.R., com 8 indicações cada. Olivia Rodrigo é outro dos destaques, ao ser a única artista que concorre às quatro principais categorias deste ano.

As nomeações foram anunciadas via streaming, a partir da página e redes oficiais da Recording Academy. A transmissão online contou com uma série de estrelas, como Finneas, Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, BTS e até os italianos vencedores da Eurovision Song Contest, Måneskin.

A lista de 86 categorias dos Grammy abrange diferentes géneros musicais, nomeadamente pop, jazz, música clássica, rap, rock, metal, gospel e audiolivros. Pela primeira vez, nesta edição, as categorias de Gravação, Álbum e Canção do Ano, bem como Artista Revelação, contam com 10 nomeados ao invés dos 8 habituais, como forma de “lançar uma rede mais vasta para abarcar mais música, mais artistas e mais géneros”, confidenciou o diretor executivo da Academia Fonográfica, Harvey Mason Jr.

A cerimónia de entrega dos 64.º Grammys está marcada para o 31 de janeiro no Staples Center, em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos, com transmissão em televisão na CBS. Vê aqui a lista dos nomeados das categorias principais:
